All 2024 Ford E-Transit models offer two seats in the front. Standard equipment also includes rubberized flooring, long-lasting plastic trim, and cloth upholstery.

Infotainment & Features

Every E-Transit includes a massive 12" touchscreen infotainment system. This system works with SYNC 4, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and added connectivity with vehicle telematics aimed at fleet managers.

Cargo Capacity

The biggest perk of the 2024 E-Transit is how many different ways it can be configured. The largest option would include a high roof and extended wheelbase, providing more than 480 cubic feet of space. This van handles up to 3,880 pounds of payload on cargo configurations or 4,513 pounds when using a cutaway.

Battery & Range

The new E-Transit comes with a 68.0-kWh lithium-ion battery. It provides a maximum of 126 miles of driving with each charge. A 115kW DC Fast Charger takes it from 15 to 80 percent in just about thirty minutes.

Performance

The single motor pumps out 266 horsepower. This is only slightly less than what comes out of the standard Transit lineup.

Transmission

As with most electric models, the 2024 E-Transit comes with a single-speed transmission. This configuration provides nearly instant torque.

Drivetrain & Suspension

Ford equips the E-Transit with rear-wheel drive. There's enough excitement about the possibility of all-wheel drive in the future, so the automaker may add it later.

Safety Features

The 2024 Ford E-Transit has plenty of optional safety equipment, allowing for better customization. Yet, all models include automated emergency braking, lane keep assist, and lane departure warning.
