2020 Ford Bronco Release Date

2020 Ford Bronco Price

While we have received some 2020 Ford Bronco news, we don't know the exact pricing yet. It will be challenging to say whether the pricing will be different between possible the two- or four-door body styles. At this time, it looks like the Ford Bronco price will sit closely near a starting price of $30,000.

2020 Ford Bronco Configurations

The 2020 Ford Bronco is a mid-size, five-passenger SUV with multiple configurations expected. At this time the four primary trim levels we will see include the base, XLT, Limited and Platinum. There's no definitive answer regarding the features included in each of these trim levels yet. There's also talk of a Bronco Raptor off-road trim level. Owners of the new Ford Bronco have some other options to consider, such as whether to get a hardtop or removable top. Currently there are plans to release the 2020 Ford Bronco in 4-door and 2-door variants with the potential of removable door configs.

2020 Ford Bronco Changes

 *1977 Ford Bronco Coyote Edition

The last Ford Bronco to see production was in 1996. That fifth-generation Bronco featured three engine options: a 4.9-liter straight-six, 4.9-liter V8 and 5.8-liter V8. It came with a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission. Measurements of the last Bronco were 183.6 x 79.1 x 74.4 in. The new 2020 Ford Bronco will have more powerful engines plus the tease of removable doors, a removable top, and two body styles. The dimensions and body shape of the new Bronco will differ widely from the old Bronco.

2020 Ford Bronco Engine Options

The 2020 Ford Bronco might share a drivetrain with the Ford Ranger. This means it would include the 2.3-liter EcoBoost inline-four. It's also expected that the standard transmission would be a ten-speed automatic, but a manual option might be available. Undoubtedly, the new Bronco will be geared to head off-road, so the all-wheel drive is also a definite possibility. If rumors are right, it won't be long before we see a hybrid Bronco as well.

2020 Ford Bronco Towing Capacity

We don't have exact numbers about the 2020 Ford Bronco towing capacity yet, but we know it is set to rival the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner. If that's the case, we would think Ford would make sure it could tow as much as these vehicles. The 2020 Jeep Wrangler is set to tow up to 3,500 pounds while the 4Runner has the ability to pull 5,000 pounds. The 2020 Bronco is said to be built upon the same platform as the 2019 Ranger so we can expect that the new Bronco will tow at least 3,500 lbs.

2020 Ford Bronco Interior

The big news about the new Ford Bronco is design and capability. That's why there isn't much information regarding the 2020 Ford Bronco interior yet. Still, we know Ford will have the latest luxuries included in the cabin for maximum passenger comfort from Bronco inspired accents, trims and stitching to touchscreen displays with features like Ford CoPilot 360.

2020 Ford Bronco Exterior

The 2020 Ford Bronco reveal only included some spy shots and prototypes of what's to come. The final design isn't finished yet, so we can only speculate on what's included. So far, we've seen bodywork that's from the current Ranger pickup. It wears BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires and looks ready to hit the trails. There has also been several concepts and renderings showing the Bronco sharing a similar body style to the F-150 if it was to become a sporty utility vehicle alongside a "Raptorized" Ford Bronco.

2020 Ford Bronco Technology & Amenities

Just like with the interior, there are few details regarding the safety technology or amenities yet. In other 2020 Ford SUVs, we see USB ports, parking sensors, a rearview camera and other tech features offered, so we can assume the same will be valid with the Bronco model. Most likely, there will be packages available to enhance the performance and capability of the 2020 Bronco in off-road terrains and dangerous weather conditions.

2020 Ford Bronco Reviews & Ratings

Enthusiasts can't wait to see the 2020 Ford Bronco. Top Speed says, "we are in for the ride of our lives." Even Car & Driver feels that it will be able to "compete with rugged rivals." Aside from the die-hard loyal fan base the Bronco has acquired over the years, this new Bronco is sure to please the masses and reignite the love we had for the old Ford Bronco.
