The 2017 Ford Transit Van comes with a 3.7 liter Ti-VCT V6 engine that produces 275 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. It is available in a 3.5 EcoBoost V6, which offers 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The EcoBoost has such amazing power thanks to direct fuel injection, which efficiently sprays a mist of fuel directly into each cylinder as opposed to spraying into the intake system.
