Another F150 Problem
By Bob M on Friday, November 25, 2022
On Nov 20 I drove my 2021 F150 XLT Hybrid to the Super Market. When I arrived I could not open the drivers door from the inside. I rolled down the window to try and open the door from the outside, it would not open. I got out the passenger door and could only unlock the door with the remote key and the push button keypad. I made an appointment with the Ford dealer. The following day when the weather warmed up everything worked ok. Surprisingly it wasn't because it froze up. Ford dealer found 50701 to update the driver and passenger module (DDMand PDM) to the latest calibration. So they updated it. According to one of the Ford forums many other owners have had the same problem . Seems like new vehicles may be a money eating pit after the warranty expires. - 5.0

Limited is so much more than we imagined. The hands free cruise control, after finally received software, is next level in it's ability reduce the tension of highway travel. It's ability to stay the course even during pretty heavy rainfall is shocking. The systems ability to detect eyes closed longer than a few seconds, or drinking from a water bottle too long keeps the driver engaged. The Interior fit and finish is among the best. The touchscreen mix with physical buttons is a perfect match, no need to locate commonly used functions deep in a menu, just press the button, turn knobs and done. All touchscreen looks great, but the buttons mix is so much better for the user. 22,090 miles and no creaks or rattles. Leather holding up great and no issues once over the aut updates got sorted. Bed would be nice if Limited could get 6.5' and turning circle could be tighter, but look forward to many more years and miles with our F150.
