There is no official pricing for the 2021 Ford F-150 truck as of now. If we work from the 2020 Ford F-150 price, we can assume this truck will start around $29,000, as the price shouldn't jump that much higher from the 2020 Ford F-150.

2021 vs. 2020 Ford F-150 Towing Capacity

The 2020 Ford F-150 comes with many engine options that allow it to tow up to 13,200 pounds. There were rumors of a DOHC 4.8-liter V8 engine being added, but we can't back up that information yet. With that said, the 2021 Ford F-150 should still be able to tow up to 13,200 pounds, if not more.

2021 vs. 2020 Ford F-150 MPG

Of the various engine options, the best fuel economy you can get from a 2020 Ford F-150 is 20/26 mpg with the small EcoBoost motor. If the engine options remain the same, we will see relative fuel economy numbers for the 2021 Ford F-150. However, we are also expecting a hybrid F-150 model that combines an electric motor and V6. With this technology, we should see better fuel economy estimates.

2021 vs. 2020 Ford F-150 Payload

With a 2020 Ford F-150, you can carry up to 3,200 pounds. Because we aren't expecting any major changes to the new lineup, it's likely that the 2021 Ford F-150 payload will remain at up to 3,200 pounds.

2021 vs. 2020 Ford F-150 Interior Improvements

The biggest differences might be found inside the cabin. The 2020 Ford F-150 holds three to six people and comes complete with lots of standard technology. In addition, this pickup includes plenty of safety equipment, including automatic emergency braking, a rearview camera, and a forward collision warning. The 2021 Ford F-150 is set to include a larger eight-inch infotainment display, with an optional 15.5-inch touch screen. These systems will run in conjunction with the Sync 4 software.
